Be careful what you write

The Republic of Korea has some pretty tough libel laws, which is one reason why I do not refer to my current or former employers except in very general terms here.  You must learn to be very careful, even if you aren’t in the USA, as Judge Seo Gi-ho found out.

Judge Seo was kicked off the bench by the Supreme Court of Korea, which among other things, supervises the judicial profession.  Every 10 years, judges come up for evaluation.  Judge Seo failed that evaluation, something which was not helped by his malicious comments on his Facebook page about the current president of the Republic of Korea.  Be careful what you write.  It could bite you in your posterior when you least expect it.
