Jeonju Station

Jeonju is very proud of its traditional architecture.  I’ve featured photos of the shrine to King Taejo, founder of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) and the Gaeksa on this site before.  If you take the bus or drive into Jeonju, you’ll pass through a large tollbooth constructed to look like a traditional gate.

The train station is also done in traditional style.
