Danxia landform

China is a very large country with very varied landscapes in the different province.  Today, Xinhua (新华网), the official news agency of the People’s Republic of China decided to focus on Danxia, or rainbow-coloured landforms at a national park in China’s Gansu Province.

Some of these landforms remind me very much of the “Blue Hills” on the outskirts of my hometown which is located in St. Johns, Arizona.

You can see them by clicking here.
