Maestro Abreu wins the Seoul Peace Prize

Maestro José Antonio Abreu recently added a new prize to the vast collection of prizes he’s already obtained.  The founder of el Sistema de Orquestras Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela is now the winner of the Seoul Peace Prize.  The Seoul Peace Prize began following the 1988 Olympics.  It includes a cash prize of $200,000.  The first winner of this prize was Juan Antonio Samaranch of the International Olympic Committee.
