Sinclair Oil and its green dinosaurs

As a kid, I went with my parents and siblings at least once a year up to Salt Lake City, Utah where my grandparents lived.  One of the tell-tale signs that we had crossed over into Utah was if we saw the Sinclair Oil gas stations with their green dinosaur logo on the signs.  Sinclair Oil is a privately-held Salt Lake City-based oil company with stations in 20 different states.  Some of these feature sculptures of green dinosaurs.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch recently did a story on Sinclair Oil and its green dinosaur sculptures which adorn some of their stations.  You can read more about them by clicking here.
