Hunmin Jeongum

Along with the massive statue of King Sejong in Gwanghwamun, there is a stone tablet with an inscription of Hunmin Jeongum, the document promulgating the Korean alphabet.  Korean spelling has changed a bit since the time of King Sejong the Great.  Some of the letters are no longer used.  But by and large, it is the same system as King Sejong established long ago.
