Church next door

Here’s yet another Catholic parish in Seoul, this one right next to the Martyrs’ Shrine.  Catholic church buildings in Korea tend to resemble nothing so much as very tightly compacted structures.  My parish here in Namyangju is a good case in point.  The church building houses classrooms for religious education, the church itself, a hall, and the priest residences all in one compact building.

I don’t really like this building, but I find the cross on the top rather unique.

  1. Very different style for a church. This picture shows you have more snow than we do, but we’re hoping for some this week! Do most families have cars?
