The Vincent Romero case finally ends

Well, I suppose that it will never be really over.  The boy, Christian Romero, who killed his father is now going to be institutionalized indefinitely, at least until the treatment centre finds that he is no longer a threat to himself or others.  He will, of course, be under probation until he turns 18.

For the families, of course, it will never be over.  One hopes that the boy will eventually be able to become a productive member of society.  However, he faces significant odds against him.  It is not to say that it will impossible.  However, it will be difficult.

  1. I’m glad it’s reached some sort of end. I hope the boy will make something of his life.
