Shamanism in Korean Protestantism

For those interested in the topic, I found a paper entitled Shamanistic Influences in Korean Pentecostal Christianity: An Analysis by Jeremy Reynalds.  In the paper, he examines mostly the charismatic/pentecostal area of Christianity and argues that is a relationship between the gods of Korean shamanism and Korean pastor David Yonggi Cho.  Rev. Cho Yonggi is the founding and senior pastor of the Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, a huge mega church which claims some 800,000 members.

You can read the paper for yourself and make up your own mind on the topic.  Click here for the link.
