China couldn’t fail, could it?

If you read the news media these days, China is just around the corner from becoming a superpower.  Visiting the Central Business District of Beijing or Shanghai can leave one very impressed with the sheer enormity of it all.

I had read Gordon Chang’s book The Coming Collapse of China in which he argues that the Chinese government, much like the dynasties before it and the Republic of China of Chiang Kai-shek, is due for collapse.  This theme was recently echoed by the paleo-conservative author Justin Raimondo.  You can read what he says here.
