Electricity and the joys of travel

One of the interesting things about travel is having to deal with the different outlets.  My camera’s charger and cell phone charger will work in some places in Europe, but not in the USA or Japan without an adapter and a transformer.  Here is the electric outlet in my hotel.  It is quite possibly one of the weirdest outlets I’ve ever seen.

  1. That is a strange outlet! We’re enjoying all of the pictures that you are posting of the different buildings, etc of your trip to Singapore. You are getting to be quite the photographer. We travel vicariously through you. Thanks!

  2. I just finished reading all that you have posted about your trip to Singapore. It was really interesting! What a neat country to visit. I’m glad you got to go.
That really is a weird outlet.
So what is the music like in Singapore? Do they have their own native music? It seems like that might be interesting with so many cultures in one country. But since it’s a relatively young country maybe it just has music from all those cultures. Hmmmm…
And how interesting and convenient that they mostly speak English.
