Majulah Singapura

Here’s the national anthem of the Republic of Singapore, namely Majulah Singapura. As a homage to the Malays, the indigenous people of Singapore, the national anthem is only sung in Malay. While translations do exist, these are not official and one can be fined for singing them. Like Korea’s Aeguka, this is played on the beginning and end of each broadcast day on TV and radio.

  1. I really like that national anthem and the video with it. It looks like they are a very family oriented society. We’re glad you are enjoying your trip and seeing lots of neat places! Be safe, have fun!
